Slacking

It's been more than a week since I last blogged. I'm slacking big time! Lets see, what's been going on? Alex and I had our first married Easter together. Instead of traveling this year, we decided to stay in Houston and do our own thing. We went to church with Leslie and Riley and then out to brunch at The Daily Review where we met up with Kaitlin and Brandon. Overall it was a great day! We received Easter baskets from both our parents in the mail and they were awesome!! I wonder at what age you become to old for Easter baskets? I'm voting for never.

This weekend we are headed to San Antonio where Alex and Mike are playing in an outdoor soccer tournament. Charlee and I plan on laying by the pool, watching the guys play and drinking margaritas on the River Walk! I'm excited :)

In dog news, Malcom is getting an allergy shot today because he is itching incessantly! He's scratched 2 sores in his neck this week :( Poor little guy. We also bought a shock collar for Phil. Now before you go calling PETA on me, remember that Phil is a big boy (70 lbs now!) and we need to train him before he A) ruins our new house or B) hurts someone unintentionally. We keep the collar on one of the lowest levels and anytime he does something wrong we let him know. It's actually kinda funny because it doesn't hurt him, it just gets his attention right away! So far it's working because he doesn't scratch at the door anymore, now he just hits it to let us know he's ready to come in. He's a smart dog so I don't think we'll have to use it for long.
